Paper thread canvas (plain)
Paper thread canvas (plain)
■ Working with residents to conserve the natural environment through art
This canvas is made from "TSUMUGI," a sustainable paper thread made from post-consumer paper resources and unused thinning wood.
Mira Hasegawa, an opinion leader of Gen Z who speaks out about sustainability and social issues, was also involved in the project to consider new textile products, which were devised together with consumers through workshops, etc.
The canvas, made from fabric that takes advantage of the characteristics of paper thread and a frame made from unused thinning wood, was created with the aim of making those who hold it feel closer to the natural environment.
The canvas art is completed when you pick up the paper thread canvas, paint on it, and hang it up. Feel free to paint your thoughts on sustainable environmental conservation and the future.
